Today the exhibition project freedom roads! colonial street names / postcolonial cultures of remembrance opens its Online Debate Forum. We would be happy to hear voices from Africa, Europe, the Americas, Asia and elsewhere to the subject of colonial vestiges in urban space.

Shall street names which commemorate colonial stakeholders be renamed?
Shall colonial street names which commemorate former colonies, battle fields or colonial goods be historically contextualised in urban space?
Shall personalities of the African history and of the anticolonial resistance be honoured with street names in Germany and Europe?
