School Workshops <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n

In our workshops we sensitize students to global issues from a decolonial perspective.<\/span><\/span> The workshops last about 4 hours.<\/span><\/span><\/strong> <\/span><\/p>\n

We offer our Global & Decolonial student workshops on the following topics:<\/p>\n

They are conducted by a speaker in school premises. Training for Teachers <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n

Our training courses offer suggestions for reflection, background information and teaching materials on global issues from a decolonial perspective.<\/span><\/span> The training courses last approximately 4 hours.<\/span><\/span><\/strong> <\/span><\/p>\n

We offer our Global & Decolonial teacher training courses on the following topics:<\/p>\n

1. Social and economic inequality \/ global production and consumption
\n2. Climate justice
\n3. Flight & migration
\n4. Gender & stereotypes<\/p>\n

In addition, colonial continuities are addressed in class with a focus on discrimination-sensitive language and attitudes of teachers. The training courses also enable teachers to respond appropriately and in a discrimination-sensitive manner to any dynamics that may arise in the classroom when dealing with these topics. Online Courses for Multipliers<\/h3>\n

Our Global & Decolonial online multiplier training courses are aimed at trainers who have previously mostly worked with students and want to qualify to conduct teacher training courses. The training courses create the basis for developing teacher-specific training concepts. They last around 4 hours.<\/strong><\/p>\n

We look at a global topic from a decolonial perspective. The following topics are covered:<\/p>\n

1. Social and economic inequality \/ global production and consumption
\n2.\u00a0Climate justice
\n3. Flight & migration
\n4. Gender and stereotypes<\/p>\n

The training courses each deal with a specific global topic and its relationship to colonial continuities. Links to the framework curricula, but also the framework conditions of the school and the needs of the teachers are addressed.<\/p>\n

For the four thematically different training courses, we work with different cooperation partners and invite experts who combine topic-specific knowledge and decolonial perspectives.<\/p>\n

Meetings for Parents & Children<\/h3>\n

We offer Global & Decolonial networking meetings for parents and children twice a year. Two workshops take place in parallel: a workshop for parents and a workshop for their children.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In the parent workshops, parents are encouraged to discuss complex global issues with their children. Topics include everyday consumption, climate protection, gender roles, flight and migration, and racism. Parents are empowered to recognize and deal with the effects of colonialism on their children’s everyday lives. The ability to support their children in their emotional and cognitive learning processes is strengthened through exchange with other parents and with the instructing speakers. At the same time, the parents’ children deal with a decolonial approach in a practical and age-appropriate way in their workshop.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row el_class=”portfolio-fliesstext” el_id=”child-protection”][vc_column][vc_column_text css=””]<\/p>\n
