Counter narratives and self-organised resistance - Workshop with Jamie Schearer (ISD Bund e.V.)

The workshop will explore the relevance of self-organized struggles. We will especially focus on alliances and their relevance of speaking from the margins. We will pay attention to the European Network Meetings for People of African Descent which are highlighting Black realities throughout Europe and thereby bringing together grassroots initiatives as well as European and international lobbying approaches. We will also look into how this Network is related to the Berlin Conference of 1884/1885 and its aftermath.
