Black Panther: Black History Month Communities Screening

Welcome to the Black History Month!

Every year in February, Black History Month is celebrated in many countries with events on black culture and history. This tradition dates back to 1926, when the African-American historian Dr. Carter G. Woodson initiated the NEGRO HISTORY WEEK to educate the audience in the US about Black History and achievements of African-Americans.

The first German Black History Month took place in 1990 and was organized by the Initiative Schwarze Menschen in Deutschland e.V. (ISD).

Today we want to draw your attention to the film screening Black Panther, which will take place on 15.02.18 at 19:45 at the Cineplex Alhambra (U Seestraße).

All tickets were sold out within 12 hours, so a bigger auditorium was booked for you! You can still reserve your tickets on the guest list: https://pretix.eu/eoto/eoto

Supported by EOTO eV and in cooperation with Oury Jalloh, Zentralrat der afrikanischen Gemeinden, ISD, Afrikarat, Africa Avenir International, The Poetry meets Series, Ujamaa Cultural Center, Kaneza Foundation, Narud e.V., Freak de l'Afrique, Black Diaspora School, AfikAkzent Media, Black Filmmaking Community, Black Panther Screening by Brunhilde Bradford, Black Lives Matter Berlin...
