Training Workshop "Critical Whiteness" with Lawrence Oduro-Sarpong
.
Event information
.
This workshop is about perceiving one's own whiteness and making oneself aware of its significance.
Whiteness is associated with privileges that are usually not perceived or felt as such. Whiteness is an unmarked position from which others are described, marked and evaluated.
This workshop offers the opportunity to develop an awareness of this phenomenon and to begin with or advance a process of decolonization of the white self. The whole process is interactive and there are plenty of provocations. It is almost impossible to get bored, and participants who care about self-reflection and humanity will have a lot of fun.
The Facilitator:
Lawrence Oduro-Sarpong, born and raised in Ghana, is an intercultural, diversity, anti-racism and conflict trainer, mediator, coach, supervisor and process facilitator.
