In 2000,&nbsp; he shot the short movies \u201eLe mur\u201c, which received an award in Cannes and \u201eTrajets\u201c, which was awarded in Venice. As an actor Faouzi Bensa\u00efdi played in the reflective road movie \u201eLe cheval de vent\u201c of his fellow countryman Daoud Aoulad Syad. \u201eMille mois\u201c (2003), his first feature-length movie won an award in Cannes in 2003.
