AfryKamera: African Film Festival in Poland - Call for Submissions

AfryKamera: African Film Festival in Poland (www.afrykamera.pl) is the first such festival in the region of Eastern Europe dedicated to African film and African diaspora film in general. The VIII AfryKamera African Film Festival is set to take place in Warsaw from 10th to 14th April 2013. It will be organized jointly by two NGOs from Poland: Filmgramm Foundation and the Foundation for Somalia.

Main screenings will take place in the largest independent art cinema in Warsaw: Kinoteka, located in the city centre in the Palace of Culture. Select movies will be screened in smaller cinemas across the country (up to 6 towns). The 2013 programme of the festivals plans to present a special focus on Senegal.

The main theme for 2013 is: African World Class.

Deadline for entry is 1st March 2013.

Preview DVD/BLURAY's are to be sent at entrants' expense and these will not be returned unless specifically requested (at the expense of the festival organiser). Preview copies retained by the festival will be used for non-circulating reference in its archive. Optionally an online streaming version can be submitted with the appropriate internet link (Festivalscope, Vimeo, etc.) and (if applicable) access code.
