Dialogue Forum & African Palaver
The AfricAvenir Dialogue Forum is one of the earliest projects of AfricAvenir. In these forums, experts, politicians and public servants enter into dialogue with the population in French and English on a variety of issues. Palavers based on traditional ways of dialogue are organised in Cameroonian languages in order to include the great majority of the population and to further nurture the culture of dialogue, mutual respect and understanding between people with different cultural and social backgrounds. The forums and palavers touch on various topics such as the African renaissance, democratisation, conflict resolution, sustainable development, Africa’s contribution to the development of humanity etc.
